Paddock Arts

We continued our color theory study by working with tints and shades. (Or your child may call them Mr. Tint and Mr. Shade.) .  We first covered the idea of overlapping shapes in a picture to create the illusion of depth to make a cityscape drawing.  Next the children worked on painting in the background first , and then painting in the layers as they got closer to the foreground.  They could then add in different actions and events into their streets, windows, sky, etc.
