The children learned about the primary and secondary colors and how their relationship to each other on the color wheel. They painted their own color wheel keeping in mind that the secondary colors need to be in between the primary colors. We also discussed that we can classify colors into warm and cool colors. The children noticed that the warm colors were on one side of the color wheel and the cool colors on the other. The children also learned about circular designs called rosettes. Using black paper they turned their color wheels into Rosettes.
