Parody in Art

 

Parody- A piece of work in which the style of an author or work is closely imitated for comic effect or in ridicule.

The students took a look at several different examples of parody from Fine Art pieces to commercial products.

​

Next they chose the object to parody and the media of their choice.  If their media was 2-D they had an opportunity to use Pixlr, an online image editor to colorize and make effects on their artwork
